Ingredient research

In a 12-week head-to-head trial, bakuchiol at 0.5% matched retinol on wrinkles and pigmentation. The retinol group reported significantly more scaling and stinging at every check-in.*

The trial used 0.5%. This moisturizer uses 3%.
